Thankful Sunday Growth: From London To Lima, Our Global Listener Map
A simple idea turned into a wide‑open map: listeners from London to Lima, West Valley City to Riverview, are pressing play and helping this community grow in ways we can see and celebrate. We trace that journey with real places and real names, pausing to shout out the towns that showed up this week, and the countries pushing us forward—17 so far, with the UK rising and South America lighting up through Peru, Columbia, and new cities in Brazil.
If you’re new here, expect warmth, gratitude, and a few laughs; if you’ve been with us, you know the drill—tag your city, check the map, and help us reach the next place on the globe. Make sure to subscribe, share the show with someone who’d love a feel‑good listen, and leave a quick review telling us where you’re tuning in from. Your shoutout might be next.
Thank you for listening. Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages for additional content. We often post polls and other questions for your feedback. We would love to hear from you, and if you like our show please take a moment to give us a Five Star Review!

Welcome to Thankful Sunday, a special edition of the Dysfunction Junkies Podcast. We may not have seen it all, but we've seen enough. And now, here are your hosts, Chrissy and Kerry.
SPEAKER_01:Hello, junkies. I'm Kiri. And I'm Chrissy. Welcome to Thankful Sunday.
unknown:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:I am excited. I'm always excited. I feel like I say that all the time, but I'm happy about some things. That's awesome. So we have had some really great growth in the last month. Well, even last month was good. I know. We're getting some really good uh things going here. It is amazing. So we're gonna start it off with Chrissy. Share us who is now listening to dysfunction junkies across the world.
CHRISY:Well, we got through and Columbia. Yes. And then we got a bunch of cities that uh were sort of just uh spreading through, which is fantastic. Uh West Valley City, Utah.
SPEAKER_01:That's awesome. I had to look that up because I was in Utah, so I was almost wondering, was it one of the cities I was driving through? But it wasn't. It was way up in Salt Lake area, so that's awesome. Oh, okay. Yeah, it wasn't you.
CHRISY:I see Utah, you know. I'm thinking right away. Carrie must have uh ran into someone, maybe, which we'll take it. We'll take it. Yeah, yep, yep. We got Washington, D.C. Woohoo! Deerfield, Ohio. That's close to me. Oh, okay. Riverview, Florida. Awesome. Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania. I don't know where that's at. I'm gonna have to look that one up. Yeah, I don't Waterford, Pennsylvania. Yeah. And this oh, right in the city of London. London, England. London, England. Yes. We already had uh England.
SPEAKER_01:We've had it for a while. Yes, yes. In a growing population in the UK. I think they're like I think they're like number three or something.
CHRISY:Second or third most downloaded. They're in the top there. Yes. So wonderful. Gallatin, Tennessee. Is that how you say it? I think it is, yes. Nick's shrugging. How is it you don't know? You're not supposed to do that ever when I look at you. I always look at you expecting the correct answer, sir. Sorry. Oh, gosh. Richfield, Ohio. Yes. I always want to pronounce this Bellefontaine, but my understanding is it's Belle Fountain. Bellefontaine.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, I thought it was Bellafontaine.
CHRISY:Yeah, Bellefontaine.
SPEAKER_01:It's not Bella.
CHRISY:Belle Belle Fountain, Ohio. Bellefontaine, Ohio. Lithonia, Georgia. Is that correct? I think that is correct. Yes. And then as far as our city in Peru, it's a Lima. Lima Province. Lima Province, Peru. Thank you, Peru. Yeah, thank you. Now we're getting into some new cities. We had Brazil. Yes, we had Brazil, but we have another city. We have another city. Uh-huh. It is uh Formosa Goyas. I think it's Goyas. Yeah. G-O-I-A-S. Formosa Goyas. I have a friend who like was an exchange student there.
SPEAKER_01:Yes. We need to get her on here to tell us how to say these names. Thank you, Brazil. We're sorry if we're messing up your name.
CHRISY:Yeah, we don't mean to. We really want to say them correctly. And then this is the city uh area in Colombia. Barranquila, Atlantico. Colombia.
SPEAKER_01:Yes. Yes. Awesome. That is so exciting. Yeah. Um, South America is uh really starting to take root listening to us. We are now in 17 different countries. Yes. It is so exciting. And uh to see to see South America really taking off with uh the addition now of Peru and Colombia, that's awesome. Then all the other cities. In fact, we do officially have up on our website our reach. And I'm so excited about this because we have a map of the world and it's highlighted all the countries that we're in. And then the United States, it we actually are have which states are are highlighted. Yes. So you really get to see us. So when when we see that map, it's just so exciting. So thank you to Instant WebMakers who handles our website for making that happen. And then if you look below the map, is a list of all the countries, cities, and states. So you can double check to see if you're on there.
CHRISY:Yes.
SPEAKER_01:And then if you happen to see a blank spot on the map and you know somebody who lives there, tell them they need to listen to us.
CHRISY:They do, and we will definitely be happy to mention the area which they are listening to us. Right.
SPEAKER_01:So we need Australia. We need Australia because that's on the map and it's kind of out there by itself and it's not highlighted yet. And then we need like Hawaii and we need Alaska. We need a lot of things in the Europe area. Yes, we do. We actually do, which is where most of our ancestry comes from. Exactly. So I mean, we do have a lot of things over there, but you know, but yeah, when you look at it, it looks a little vacant. So uh so come on, everybody, uh, give us a little Christmas present this year and reach out to your friends when you're when you're over at Christmas parties or holiday parties and talk all about us, and uh, we can keep our listenership growing. So yeah, 17 countries, 34 U.S. states, 28 international cities, and 215 US cities. So thank you to everybody who is listening. Yes. I also want to give a huge thank you to Pioneer Pioneer Trails Tree Farm in Poland, Ohio. If you follow us on our Facebook page, Chrissy and I were there while I was trying to cut down our tree and decorate for the holidays. Uh, if you haven't listened to our last episode, please tune in. You can hear all about how I definitely suffered. But and what the fate of her tree is. Exactly. Where is Carrie's Christmas tree? Because I will tell you what, it is not in my house. And we're only a couple days. It's back out in the wild. Um, but pioneer trails, they were a fabulous experience. They had some beautiful horses that we uh took out to the tree farm there to cut the tree down, but they were very gracious and um so thank you to them.
CHRISY:It was very nice, and it just uh they had so many things for families going on. Yeah, a lot of people out there uh looking for their tree. It's a very good, perfect operation.
SPEAKER_01:Cookies and cocoa and tree shakers and tree helpers and they they know their stuff.
CHRISY:So I very much enjoyed that. Was my my first time uh being able to uh participate in uh live tree uh harvesting.
SPEAKER_01:We also want to give a great thank you to Letters by Lantern Light. If you're looking for the Christmas ideas, we mentioned those a few a few episodes ago. But Letters by Lantern Light, they've been really supportive. Um, you know, sharing our information, sharing our episode. Great, great gift for the family, great gift for kids, great gifts for just somebody uh that maybe doesn't live close to you, but you want to send a nice present to. It's the gift that keeps on giving. So you want to check them out, Letters by Lantern Light. Definitely. But definitely want to thank them for helping support. We also want to thank everybody who has listened to our junkies care for this month. And we've been supporting the Akron Canton Regional Food Bank, but also encouraging anybody and everybody to support their local food bank, whatever is close to you, to help those with food insecurities. So thank you to all of those that have either volunteered their time or donated some money or maybe donated food to your local food pantries.
CHRISY:Yes, it's a very, very necessary and very thoughtful thing to do. Uh, people definitely appreciate that. Absolutely.
SPEAKER_01:So I think that was everything on my list of thankfulness. Of course, always thankful for Chrissy and Nick and for thankful for Carrie and Farm Boy Jim. And Farm Boy Jim, exactly. So we are looking forward to uh spending the holidays, and uh, we've got an episode coming to you on Christmas. So be sure to tune in, and uh, we will catch you later this week. Bye, everybody. Bye-bye.
